Router Setup & Optimisation

When a new router arrives from your ISP, the default settings are rarely the best ones for your home. The Wi-Fi channel might clash with your neighbours', the password is often weak, and the position the router ends up in — usually wherever the phone socket happens to be — is hardly ever where the signal will be strongest.
We come out and set the router up properly: secure password, sensible network name, optimised channel, separate guest network if you want one, and the firmware brought up to date. We'll suggest a better position if there is one, and explain in plain English why each setting matters.
If you've bought your own router rather than using the ISP's, we'll set that up too — including any extras like ethernet ports for a smart TV, printer, or games console.
A router that's set up properly works far better than one that isn't. Book a router setup visit.
