Buying a new smart device is exciting; spending an evening with the instructions is usually not. I'll come and install yours properly, whether it's a single plug or a whole boxful of new kit.
That means connecting it to your Wi-Fi, signing it into the right account, putting it in the right room or group, naming it sensibly, and checking it actually does what it's meant to do before I leave. If there are settings worth changing for security or convenience, I'll change those too and explain what I've done.
If you'd rather, you can have everything delivered to your home, and I'll handle the unboxing and setup in one visit. You get to enjoy the new gadget; I'll deal with the fiddly bits.
