A new computer or printer should feel like a fresh start, not an afternoon with the instructions. I'll come and set yours up properly so it's ready to use the moment I leave.
For a new computer, that means getting it onto your Wi-Fi, signing you into your email and any accounts you use, installing your usual programs, moving your files, photos and bookmarks across from your old machine, and tidying up the bits of pre-installed software that just get in the way.
For a new printer, I'll unbox it, get it connected to your Wi-Fi (or by cable if that suits better), make sure every computer and phone in the house can print to it, and check scanning, copying, and any other features actually work.
If you're getting both at once, I'll set them up to talk to each other from the start, so there's no fiddling later. Nothing gets changed without me explaining what and why.
