Accounts & Drivers

Two things on the inside of your computer often cause problems on the outside: Accounts and drivers.
Accounts are the sign-ins your computer uses — your Microsoft or Apple account, your email, sometimes a separate one for the family. When one of these goes wrong, you can find yourself locked out, unable to download apps, or staring at a screen that won't stop asking for a password you don't remember setting.
Drivers are the small bits of software that let your computer talk to your printer, webcam, headphones, second screen and other devices. When a driver is missing or out of date, the device often just refuses to work or behaves oddly for no obvious reason.
I'll sort both. That might mean setting up a fresh Microsoft or Apple account, recovering one you've been locked out of, sorting two-factor codes that have gone astray, adding a separate user for someone else in the house, or finding and installing the right driver for a device that won't cooperate.
